When I try the solution in the knowledge base to turn on DEP for all programs except those I select. I tried to add Filemaker Pro Advanced.exe

And I get error dialog box " This program must run with data execution protection (DEP) enabled. You cannot turn off DEP for this program"

The plugin works fine for FM8 FM9 on Windows 7 so it must be something with Filemaker 11 .

    Hi Joe...

I dont work for myFMButler... so I hope they dont mind me posting this...
But I do know they are aware of this and working hard to get it fixed... So far, there is no work around I know of, but Im sure an update is around the corner ;-)

No doubt you will get an official response soon, but thought I would chime in and let you know this evening...

    Hi Joseph,

We should have an update out later this month. We may have a beta by early next week.

    Best regards,

We have just posted a beta update of PrinterSwitch for both Mac and Windows. Please check whether this solves your problems.

    Download the beta from:
    Mac installer:
    Mac plug-in:
    Windows installer:
    Windows plug-in:

    What's new ?

    • Solves an issue where the "Print Setup" script step was not working properly
    • Fixed bug with FileMaker 11 record selection dialog - when using capture and restore, you can now determine whether to print the "Current record" or "all "Records being browsed"" by using "Specify print options" in the "Print" script step. When using a restore, PrinterSwitch will only use the FileMaker record selection data defined in the "Specify print options" - all other (FileMaker 11) printer information will be ignored
    • [Mac OS X] Fixed bug with manual printing and "Save as PDF". You can now create PDFs manually, even when PrinterSwitch has selected a printer. You can now even capture and restore "Save as PDF…", although the PDF name is not variable.
    • [Windows] (Hopefully) solved privilege related issues on Windows 7, Vista and Server 2008.
    • [Windows] Should no longer require changes to DEP settings
