Long delay in plugin initialization after computer restart

Hello FMButler-folk,

we have updated to version 2.0.2.0 of the printer switch plugin.

The printer switching is working fine, however our customers are complaining that the first time that they start FileMaker after restarting their computers, the fmButler_PrinterSwitch plugin takes a very long time ( 1-3 mins) to initialize, and holds them up from starting their day - every day.

We manage our plugins from within our database solution, Advanter, so the (developer) licensing information is not entered directly into the plugin window.

Is it maybe a "phone home" functionality, that has got an overlong timeout on it?

Is there any way to reduce this long delay?

Thanking you all!

    Hi Russel,

It's only with FMP11 on Windows 7 64-bit? Or does it also happens on different combinations?

We don't do any call back, so this can't be the issue.
Do you use other plug-ins as well? What happens if you disable these plug-ins?

    Kind regards,
    Jasper
