Hello -

I am having an issue with installing the new printer switch on Windows 7. (file name: printerswitch_win_2_0_demo) I have an activation code for it, but when I try to install on this machine I am getting an error message. Error message is: Could not access network location \Extensions.

This is Filemaker 11 which was installed and located C:\Program Files (x86)\Filemaker\Filemaker Pro 11.

During installation the PrinterSwitch plug-in is installed in the FMS AutoUpdate location:
    "C:\Users[username]\Local Settings\Application Data\FileMaker\Extensions"

Are you running as an admin or as a standard user ? It looks like maybe you don't have access privileges to the location ?

As an alternative you may want to try and move the plug-in to the traditional location in FileMaker's own Extensions folder.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, the account is an administrator and C:\Users\April\local settings is set is just a junction point so I'm not sure if there is a way to change the location to the real folder. C:\Users[username]\appdata\roaming.
