It appears as if ClipManager 3 will not work with custom functions in FMP 11. I can get an active set button. This then become a major problem. I can copy my custom function in and enter the parameters by hand. Or I could create my own CF file in FMP 10 and just use import.

But it should work right? I am running 3.1.5 which appears to be the latest.

I see from the knowledge base that one custom function format works the newer one but older one will not. Are you then saying none of the custom functions i have stored from the past 18months are going to work and there is no way to convert them so they will. and if I did so would they not work with 10 anymore?

There most be some work around for this.

Thank you for your feedback. Because FileMaker integrated copy/paste of CF in F11, the XML format for custom functions has changed.

The next major upgrade for Clip Manager, version 4, will support custom functions created in FileMaker 10 or lower for use with FileMaker 11. I will make sure you will be added to our list of beta tester, if you wish.

In the meantime, the workaround is that you can 'Set' custom functions in a FileMaker file using the FM 10 client, then open that same file in FM 11, and get those same functions so they can be saved in the new format - the new format also supports multiple custom functions in a single file.

Let us know if this helps,
