Autosender 3 won't connect to FMSA 11

I am having trouble getting autosender 3 to connect to the database server (FMS Adv. 11). I recently upgraded to FMSA 11 from FMSA 10 and subsequently upgraded autosender from version 2.5 to 3 because the documentation on the site says autosender 3 is needed for FMSA 11. I have done the necessary updates to the xDBC drivers. The log shows an error when attempting to execute a SQL query. More specifically the log says "An expression contains incompatible data types" before displaying the SQL query and then says "Unable to fetch message - connection issue" after the SQL query. I would appreciate any help you could offer.

Hi Doug,
Check if the fields in your mail table are the right data type. AutoSender uses an sql query to get it's records, but the fields in the mail table are probably not of the right type. Check if the number fields are not text fields and vice versa.

Thank you for the response. I was able to solve the problem soon after I posted the message. It was in fact an issue with the field types in FileMaker for the ID and Status fields. Changed them to text and everything is working fine.

I guess I spoke too soon. The connection issue is back but it is not because of incompatible data types. Basically the log file says the same thing as before with the "FileMaker error" instead of "incompatible data types". It also still says "Unable to fetch message - connection issue" at the end of the SQL query. Thank you for your help.

Could you provide us with a log file, so our dev team can try to see whether they can find more details about the cause of the problem.

Hi, I was able to get Autosender working again. I had to rebuild the index on the Status field in FileMaker. Thanks again for your help.
